Using cost and quality information as you select providers can help you make more informed decisions about where to go for care. As you are searching for a facility in the provider directory, when you see the QualityCounts logo, it means you can access cost and/or quality information.

Look for this logo when you are searching the provider directory. Clicking the logo in your search results will connect you to one of the following reports:

  • QualityCounts Outpatient Procedures and Tests Report - provides cost information for 17 different outpatient procedures and tests at facilities that participate with The Alliance. Outpatient care means patients are sent home the same day as their procedure or test.
  • QualityCounts Report on Hospital Care - provides quality and cost information for 15 different inpatient procedures at hospitals that participate with The Alliance. Inpatient care means that patients stay overnight at the facility after the procedure.
