American Patients First, the Trump Administration’s “blueprint to lower drug prices,” contains provisions with the potential for a significant impact on the health care marketplace, according to Alex Jung, managing director in the Parthenon-EY practice of Ernst & Young LLP.
Onsite clinics are a growing trend for American employers. Today, 50 percent of employers with over 5,000 employees have onsite or near-site clinics, according to the National Association of Worksite Health Clinics. It’s predicted that in the next two years, this percentage will grow to two out of three.
“I want you [employers] to be the drivers of change,” said Heather Sundar, Pharm.D., senior vice president consulting and employer solutions at Archimedes. Sundar spoke at The Alliance’s September 2018 Annual Meeting about the risks and opportunities presented by specialty drugs and biosimilars.
