In March, we launched a new claims processing system. Below are a few changes that have occurred as a result.
Beginning Monday, March 26:
- Billing addresses received on claims will be what is used when processing claims, regardless of what has previously been loaded in our system.
- Any claim received for a newborn whose eligibility has not yet been relayed to The Alliance will be rejected back to the provider.
- Future dated claims for rentals will no longer be accepted and will be rejected back to the provider.
- Claims without a place of service (POS) identified will be rejected back to the provider.
