On May 6, 2016, The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin approved grants for 21 applicants as part of the agency’s Medical Telecommunications Equipment Program.
What this means is that more Wisconsin residents will be able to receive medical care in rural and underserved areas through technology and telemedicine equipment provided through 21 health centers.
These grants will help put patients firmly in the focal point of care while improving efficiency of delivery and reducing costs” said Governor Walker.
The 21 health centers approved for the grant total almost $1 million. To view the full list of providers read the press release here.
