Many providers employ a billing service to help manage the claims and reimbursement process. If you use a billing service, or if you change billing services, please make sure that they know that your practice is a participating provider in The Alliance. Our customer service department fields a large number of complaints each week from patients who are being billed beyond the contracted rate because the provider’s billing service does not have all of the information they need.
