Curt Kubiak
Curt Kubiak joined The Alliance in 2024 as President and CEO. He works with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team to establish the strategic direction of the cooperative.
Prior to working at The Alliance, Curt founded NOVO Health in 2016. His previous experience includes serving as CEO at The Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (OSI) and Director of Business Administration at Plexus.
Curt earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Marquette University. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oshkosh.

Dan Ludwig
Dan Ludwig joined Brakebush Brothers as safety manager in 2004, now holding the position of Director of Benefits & Safety. Dan developed Brakebush Brothers’ Centers of Excellence program, which includes steerage and international prescription benefits. He received a Health Transformation Award from The Alliance in 2018 and was awarded the Employer/Purchaser Excellence Award for innovation in healthcare strategy in 2019

Doug Benzine
Doug Benzine joined The Alliance in 2022 as VP of Finance and Operations. In 2025, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations where he oversees the claims and customer service, finance, MIS, and HR departments, as well as business planning and reporting. Doug has over 30 years’ experience in business finance and organizational operations, including VP of Operations at WPS Health Solutions, where he led the expansion of the fastest-growing, most profitable division while managing the largest federal Veteran Affairs health claims administration contract in the nation.
