On June 24, President Trump issued The Executive Order on Improving Price and Quality Transparency in American Healthcare to Put Patients First. This order includes sweeping provisions that could have a significant positive impact on one of the cornerstones of The Alliance: the availability of information to assess and compare the quality and price of health care services.

Employees Wary of Out-of-Pocket Health Care Costs
|
A survey of Wisconsin public employees by the La Follette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin—Madison aimed to learn more about people’s experiences with their health plans and their understanding of the health care system. The survey results were shared during a May event titled, “Managing Out-of-Pocket Medical Expenses: How Well are Families Prepared for a World of High Deductibles?”
