Hidden Surcharges Cost Calculator from The Leapfrog Group

The Leapfrog group has released a calculator that helps you determine if there are hidden surcharges that your company pays as a result of hospital errors. By shifting employees to hospitals with an “A” rating, you can decrease these hidden surcharges and protect your employees and their dependents from harm.

Hospitals are rated by a panel that uses 26 measures of public hospital safety data to give hospitals a grade of A, B, C, D or F based on expert analysis of inpatient injuries, infections and medical and medication errors.
