Senior Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Marketing, The Alliance
Melina Kambitsi joined The Alliance in 2017 and leads the team responsible for membership growth and retention of the cooperative. Dr. Kambitsi comes to The Alliance from Network Health in Milwaukee and Menasha, Wisconsin. where she was chief sales and strategy officer. In this role, she was responsible for sales and underwriting, strategic planning, product development and risk-based contract analytics. Earlier she was senior vice president of sales at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Honolulu, Hawaii and the vice president of sales, marketing and product development at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Dr. Kambitsi currently serves on National CooperativeRx’s Board of Directors.
Manager of Analytics, The Alliance
Ryan joined The Alliance in 2013 as Senior Analyst/Programmer of Value Measurement Transformation and was promoted to Manager of Analytics in 2019. Ryan now leads the teams responsible for the development and maintenance of operational software, dashboards, automation, and analytic packages, which guides our employer-members’ benefit strategies and helps them receive more value from their health care dollar. Prior to joining The Alliance, Ryan led Technical Services at Epic in Madison, and was the Senior Staff Engineer for Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland.
Ryan received his bachelor’s in physics from Lawrence University and his master’s in engineering physics and applied physics from Johns Hopkins University.
